Yes. I am in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, Quest Behavioral Health, Ascension (Smarthealth,) and Carelon Behavioral Health.
I am not in network with any Medicaid plans.
I am not considered an in-network provider for other insurance providers. You can often use your Flex Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) to cover out-of-network costs pre-tax. Please call your insurance company to see how they handle out-of-network providers.
The first appointment primarily focuses on getting to know you. We will discuss what you would like to address in treatment, expectations for services, and explore the changed you would like to see. This appointment will be to gather pertinent information regarding the concerns you are facing to collaboratively determine what treatment will best fit your needs. It’s typically more structured than your subsequent sessions.
This varies quite a bit and is unique to the individual. You will have full autonomy to determine the course of your treatment. Some people reach their goals with short-term treatment (4-12 sessions) while others may benefit from ongoing treatment and consistent support.
Yes. That is actually a great time to seek therapy. Therapy is not just for crises. Therapy is also for self-improvement, having support adjusting to life transitions, and to better understand how you show up in your world and for those around you.
No. At this time, only virtual appointments are available. All therapy services will be provided virtually through HIPAA protected electronic health record system. Changes to in-person availability will be update promptly on this site.
The initial intake assessment is $200. Subsequent individual, family, and/or couple’s therapy sessions are $150/hour (50-53 mins).
During your initial appointment, sessions are offered weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or by request based on your need and availability. Next sessions are scheduled/confirmed at the end of each appointment. If you’d prefer to schedule as needed, that is also okay, however, availability may be limited.
Reach out today to schedule a free 15min phone or video consultation where we can discuss your interest in therapy services and I can share about my therapeutic approach. Together, we can decide how to move forward.
Anyone can benefit from therapy. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, depressed, or just not like yourself, therapy can help. You don’t need to be in crisis. Many people go for growth, clarity, or support.
I’m going to be honest with you; therapy requires work. So, as long as you are honest, vulnerable, and communicate openly with me, you will benefit from the therapeutic process.
Yes! It is just as effective as in-person, especially for anxiety, depression, and general support.
It is my expectation that we treat Telehealth services in the same manner as we would in-person. I will expect that you show up on time, be in a confidential space, and limiting as much distraction as possible. We’d want to ensure the space you and I meet will not prohibit your progress in treatment, especially depending on the therapy modality we choose.
In order to bill your insurance, I am contractually obligated to communicate information to your insurance company including a mental health diagnosis, medical necessity for treatment, information about your progress, and sessions. They could dictate the number of sessions you receive or how long your therapy lasts. There are other potential implications to having a mental health diagnosis. These are things you should consider when deciding whether or not to use your insurance to help pay for therapy.
