Meet Nikita
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a dual Masters degrees in Professional Counseling and Marital and Family Therapy from Oral Roberts University. I am also a board approved LPC licensure Supervisor. I have over 13 years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults and families as they pursue their therapeutic goals. I am most passionate about providing individual, group, family, and couples counseling.
I believe it is important that our time together is driven by your identified goals as you are the expert of your life. To help reach these goals, I utilized evidence based methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT,) solution-focused therapy (SFBT,) person centered and family systems approaches to therapy. However, I recognize the privilege interwoven within many of those types of modalities. I intentionally utilize aspects that are most beneficial to you and utilize relational therapy when appropriate. In doing so, I aim to help you on your journey to a deeper understanding of yourself, your story, and your contributions to the world around you.

I have also received specific training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to address the traumatic experiences that can impact how you encounter the world.
Together we can navigate these and other issues such as anxiety, depression, family disruption, self-esteem concerns, negative thoughts, and changes in behavior or mood. We will work together in an environment that is supportive, encouraging, reflective, tranquil, and promotes overall wellness. I would be honored to walk this journey with you.
